By DAVID BRUNAT and GRAHAM DUNBAR (Associated Press)MADRID (AP) — The leader of Spain’s soccer federation left a sour taste on the country’s Women’s World Cup victory after kissing a player on the lips during the medal ceremony, drawing criticism for inappropriate conduct in a sport that has struggled to overcome sexism. The Spanish government and the world players’ union condemned the behavior of Luis Rubiales on Monday, a day after Spain’s 1-0 win over England. The soccer federation led by Rubiales sought to downplay the incident through a statement it attributed to the player he kissed.Immediately after Spain’s victory, Rubiales grabbed his crotch in a victory gesture — seemingly oblivious to 16-year-old Princess Infanta Sofía standing nearby. He later kissed player Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the medal and trophy ceremony on the field, drawing unwanted attention away from the celebration and marring the country’s big...Kiszla vs. Gabriel: How far up the Broncos’ RB depth chart can Jaleel McLaughlin run in Cinderella slippers?

Kiz: For a guy wearing glass slippers in the Broncos huddle, running back Jaleel McLaughlin shows amazing burst when toting the rock. McLaughlin, an undrafted rookie out of Youngstown State, is the Cinderella story of this training camp. With 65 yards on 11 carries, McLaughlin leads the team in rushing through two preseason games. He’s a lock to make the 53-man roster. But how much run does this story really have when the NFL begins keeping score for real? How many carries can McLaughlin take from Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine in the regular season?Gabriel: Even 10 days ago I would have pushed back against the “lock” designation with McLaughlin, but his push is undeniable at this point. He’s got juice. Whether it’s a seam between the tackles, turning up field after catching a screen or defeating pursuit angles on a 44-yard kick return against San Francisco, McLaughlin has speed the Broncos otherwise lack on offense. He’s not exactly a third-down back — he’s going to have ...Live updates: Southern California drying out, digging out from Tropical Storm Hilary
